The Glass Guru, the only window restoration and replacement franchise in North America with 35 active locations, today announced the opening of its two newest The Glass Guru franchise locations in Washington DC and Jackson, CA. The Glass Guru of Metro DC was opened by Arthur Lazerow who also owns a home inspection business as well as an energy auditing company in Maryland. Arthur’s background in these areas made him well aware of the potential for window restoration for seal failures. He will be the first in the greater DC area offering window moisture removal.

The Glass Guru of Gold Country (Jackson, CA) was opened by husband and wife Josh and Aisa McEachron, who live nearby in Ione, CA. Josh comes out of the general contracting business and Aisa out of personal banking. Their location marks the 6th franchise location to open in the greater Sacramento region where the brand is headquartered. This marks the 8th new location since April of this year.

The Glass Guru has also joined the ranks of companies engaging in online social networking. New links can be found on the company’s home page to their Facebook, Flickr, YouTube pages as well a new Twitter feed to stay in tune with the latest Glass Guru news and announcements.

The Glass Guru added 8 new franchise locations over the summer expanding to 34 active locations franchises in the US. The new franchises in order of opening dates are Stockton & Modesto,CA, Portland,OR, Frisco (North Dallas),TX, Jacksonville,FL, Austin,TX, Monterey,CA & Washington DC. The Glass Guru of Gold Country (Jackson), CA is also scheduled to open next week. This 35th active location will represent the company in its first three years of franchising achieving 10% of its goal of 350 locations across the US.

Mar 09 - The Glass Guru adds its first franchise locations in Hawaii and Washington opening up The Glass Guru of Leeward Oahu and Renton. The Glass Guru’s corporately owned location in Folsom, CA was also purchased in Feb. and is now open as a franchised location.

Jan. 09 - The Glass Guru adds three new franchise locations in Bend, OR, Troy, MI and Springfield, MO.

Dec. 08 - The Glass Guru opens new franchise location in the Tri-Valley area and a new corporate location in Folsom, CA.

Dec. 08 - The Glass Guru opens new franchise locations in Hayward, CA and Corvallis, OR.

November 2008 - The Glass Guru is listed in Inc. Magazine article about 20 low cost franchises under $40k.

October 2008 - The Glass Guru Franchise Systems Inc. opens its 18th and 19th franchises open in Contra Costa, CA and Metro West (Boston), MA. The company makes news in Window & Door Magazine. The Glass Guru Franchise Systems Inc. is registered to offer franchises in the State of Florida.

Sept 08 - The Glass Guru launches two more franchise locations in Marin County, CA and Contra Costa, CA.

August 2008 -The Glass Guru Franchise Systems Inc. opens its 15th and 16th franchises open in Bakersfield, CA and San Diego County, CA. The company makes news in Window & Door Magazine and is listed in Entrepreneur Magazine’s list of top new franchises.
