Franchise Business Review Magazine Names Top Franchises for Veterans

The Glass Guru franchise was identified by independent research firm, Franchise Business Review, as being one of just 80 franchise brands to be named as an award-winning franchise in the publication’s 2020 report on the Top Franchises for Veterans. The Glass Guru has a history of being the leading glass, window, and door repair/replacement franchise since 2007. The company continues to be one of the fastest growing brands in the industry. The company is not new to FBR’s list of top franchises. The Glass Guru has been regularly included in various lists of top franchise opportunities that FBR publishes. However, the list of Top Franchise Opportunities for Veterans is an important milestone for The Glass Guru each year. The organizational belief in the idea that  veterans align well to franchising is reflected in the incentives extended to veterans to franchise owners, including substantial discount on the initial franchise fee.  Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only ranking of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes rankings of the top franchises in its annual Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as guides throughout the year ranking the top franchises in specific sectors. To identify the companies on the list of the best franchises for veterans, Franchise Business Review analyzed data from over 2,500 franchise owners, representing more than 240 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brands and their likelihood to recommend them to others. The Glass Guru’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.

The reality is that two-thirds of the thousands of franchise opportunities available today are simply average or below average opportunities. That’s the whole reason we do what we do. Franchise Business Review is like the Consumer Reports of the franchise world. We help prospective small business owners understand which franchises are the best opportunities—based on the actual experiences and satisfaction of other franchise owners. The 80 companies named in this year’s report received the highest ratings from the veterans who own them on our independent satisfaction survey.” Eric Stites | Founder and CEO Franchise Business Review.

The Glass Guru has focused intently on fostering franchise community, this year specifically. The company has also doubled down on its efforts to support their franchise units in 2020. From helping franchise owners deal with the effects of COVID-19, to coaching franchises on how to deal with the pent up demand the company has seen, the dedicated franchise support team has been abundantly available for franchise owners to tap into. The intensified focus on franchise support, along with the hard work and dedication of the company’s franchise owners has led to a string of record revenue months for the organization.

“I personally know so many small business owners who are scrambling to stay afloat this year. But the best franchise companies – like those on this year’s list of the Top Franchises for Veterans – really stepped up support for their franchisees and helped them navigate through all the challenges of 2020. The beauty of owning a franchise is “you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.” Michelle Rowan | President Franchise Business Review

As The Glass Guru looks to finish 2020 strong, the company’s leadership is already beginning to look to 2021 and beyond. As the team has expressed in previous years, the recognition received by Franchise Business Review is greatly valued because any score received is founded in the thoughts and opinions of the organizations franchise owners themselves. As the organization reflects on the honors they’ve received, they never look past the fact that it all starts with the franchise owners. Nothing good in franchising happens without happy, profitable franchisees.  Visit www.FranchiseBusinessReview.com to see the full description of the 2020 Top Franchises for Veterans.
