Home Services Franchise Continues to Post Strong 2020 Numbers
In a year that’s been anything but normal, the robust numbers being reported over the past several months by The Glass Guru’s network of independently-owned franchises might seem surprising… to everyone except the leadership team at The Glass Guru. Instead, The Glass Guru team cites a number of factors that have led the glass services franchise to see tremendous growth after a short but expected dip following the initial economic shutdown due to coronavirus. “A pervasive need for The Glass Guru’s products and services, along with a “pent-up” demand we’ve seen for home services play into our success this year. September 2020 marked another huge month of milestones and record high-marks within our franchise system. This ongoing market demand for The Glass Guru’s services would be nothing without an incredible group of franchise owners and their teams working tirelessly to deliver great service to our customers. In an environment that has proven more challenging to maintain the customer’s trust than ever before, our teams have responded. Additionally, glass and glazing, as much as any other home service, is part of the health-and-safety of any building, residential or commercial. That’s been a big part of our continuity of business during uncertain times we’ve experienced in our year of franchising this brand. When glass breaks, people tend to want it fixed, no matter the economic circumstances.” Dan Frey | President & Founder – The Glass Guru Franchise Systems, Inc.
The organization set records for franchise reported revenues for June, July, a second-best all-time for August, and another all-time best for September 2020. The aggregate numbers for third quarter 2020 also eclipsed historical totals for the company. These numbers included a total of 8 franchise locations that hit new monthly records and milestones in September 2020:
- Chris Samples – The Glass Guru of South Cincinnati, OH
- Chris & Erica Schwartz – Denver West, CO
- Dan & Rachell Cook – Duluth, MN
- Kenny Meredith – Warner Robins, GA
- Jonathan Conner & Chris Chambers – Memphis, TN
- David Garrison – Macedonia, OH
- Mike Kirkindoll – Longview, TX
- Greg Lewelling -Yuba City
The company’s ability to weather difficult economic conditions has been tested before. The Glass Guru, unlike most other brands, has a history of being economically resilient when things get challenging. Founded in 2004, with franchising beginning in 2007, The Glass Guru has grown up during some hard times. Yet year-after-year, the organization grew. The current situation is no different, and the brand is showing no signs of letting up. The company continues to focus on practicing the fundamentals, offering great home-service experiences to their customers who are seeking glass, window, and door solutions for their home or business.
