Hello neighbors! I’m Dan Cook, owner of The Glass Guru of Duluth since 2016. I grew up in the Duluth area, went to Proctor High School, and then college at Duluth Technical College where I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in glass and windows while in the construction business for 28 years. I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy helping people and wanted to have a positive impact on my community. What attracted me to the franchise model was how it is a residential glass business that was customer service oriented. I am extremely proud of our reputation and the number of jobs completed for our happy customers.

Outside of work, I enjoy sailing. My wife Rachell and I have a son who is our lead estimator and a daughter who is a director at a local hospital. On weekends you might find us sailing on Lake Superior.

It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come. Our satisfaction comes from the happiness of our customers.

"I accidentally popped the top half of a double hung Marvin window out and it landed on a cement driveway. The frame was fine but the glass was shattered. The guys at Glass Guru were able to replace the glass. Everything was great. Thank you very much for the great service"
