Your Friendly Neighborhood Glass Shop
Before we became leaders in glass repair and installation, we were homeowners and business owners just like you.
We understand how hard it can be to find a reliable contractor, which is why we founded The Glass Guru—to offer Frisco a glass company you can depend on, without any high-pressure sales tactics.
Since day one, we’ve been committed to providing Frisco, TX, and surrounding areas with the best glass, window, and door solutions.
From repairs and restorations to complete replacements, we do it all. Plus, our signature services like Foggy Window Repair, In-Glass Pet Doors, and Custom Mirror Frames give you solutions that other companies don’t provide.

Your Frisco, TX Glass Guru Team

Ted Halladay
Owner
Hello neighbors! I’m Ted Halladay, owner of The Glass Guru of Frisco since 2009.
I grew up in Ririe, Idaho, went to Ririe High School, and then college at BYU in Rexburg Idaho. I have called Mckinney, Texas my home since 2005. Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, and business management and have started and sold three successful businesses. I was also President and CEO of Sky Technologies Inc.
I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy the service industry and wanted to be able to help people with a niche service and skillset. What attracted me to The Glass Guru was the freedom to express your individual entrepreneur spirit within a proven system. I am extremely proud of the people I work with. What I like most about this business is my time freedom.
Outside of work, I enjoy riding motorcycles, kayaking, golfing, and spending every moment I can with my wife. My wife, who oversees our office operations, and I have two adult kids Sidney and Tyra. We also have a Jack Russell “the adventure dog” Bill. On weekends you might find us riding motorcycles or kayaking.
I have a passion for creating an environment that others want to be a part of. It’s important that others enjoy where they work. If we treat those we work with well they will treat our customers well. We pride ourselves on being teachable. Knowing we are not perfect but are open to suggestions and improvements. We know it takes a team to get anywhere worth going. It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.
