Hello neighbors! I’m Marcos, owner of The Glass Guru of South East Orlando since 2021. I am a proud American immigrant, having grown up in the Mexico City area. I attended college at Universidad Iberoamericana University where I graduated with a degree in Business in 1998.
Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in sales, and management and I obtained a culinary background as well. I worked for Safety Kleen, environmental services, and then Hotel Camino Real and Hotel Royal as a chef. I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy helping people and wanted to have a positive impact on people’s homes and lives. What attracted me to The Glass Guru brand was the opportunity to work in home improvement, particularly glass, where there is tremendous demand. I am extremely proud of my team. What I like most about this business is being able to enhance people’s homes through glass and seeing their smiles.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and playing the guitar. Paoloa is the best wife I could’ve asked for, she is smart, funny, and is always pushing me to be better. We make a great team raising our two kids, Luciana and Nicolas. Our beloved Shih Tzu Mora is the cherry on our ice cream family. On weekends you might find me at home, playing tennis with my daughter, investigating subjects with my super curious son, or cooking for my beautiful wife.
I love my customers! I’ll bring a smile, and I hope to bring you one as well. It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.
