Hello neighbors! We’re Joe and Jessica Grant, owners of The Glass Guru of West Knoxville since 2016. We are a small town business and were both born and raised in this area. I grew up in the Madisonville, TN area, and went to Madisonville High School.

Prior to The Glass Guru, we gained valuable experience in manufacturing and management. For 30 years, Joe worked in manufacturing and soon was a supervisor in that industry. Jessica’s parents own restaurants, so she took advantage of that and gained 30 years of restaurant management and office management experience.

We started The Glass Guru because we enjoy helping people and wanted to have a positive impact on our community. We are extremely proud of taking a small business that we started with just the two of us we’ve grown significantly and we take great pride in taking care of our customers and making sure they are 100% satisfied.

Outside of work, we enjoy camping, spending time on the lake, and going to the beach. We’ve been married for seven years and together for 10. We have a blended family of four boys and a girl. Our oldest son recently promoted us to grandparents. Our second oldest is serving in the Air Force. Our middle son is at college at the University of Tennessee while our daughter is enjoying high school. On weekends you might find us camping or on the lake in our boat.

It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.

"The Glass Guru, based in Madisonville TN, is one of the most competent contractors I've dealt with. They set up an appointment to replace a fogged picture window in just a few days and arrived on time and did measurements. They ordered my window, which took three weeks, arrived on time to replace it, and had the job done in just a few hours. This is the kind of professionalism all contractors should meet, but few do. Highly recommended."

"A few years ago I needed a glass top for a 1930’s era solid walnut desk. Glass Guru did a fantastic job of creating the top! Today we needed a fix for a shower door leak. "We had several quotes before deciding to choose the Glass Guru and we are very glad we did! It was not only the great price and excellent quality, but outstanding customer service! We had three shower doors installed by them and are very happy. They are more like dealing with family, than a large company and work with you to get everything exactly the way you want it.

"LOVED getting replacement glass instead of replacement windows.
Glass Guru was able to install 2 glass double pane panels. One glass was scratched during the building process while a second one lost it's low-e (thank goodness the window manufacturer covered the one that lost low-e)."
